How can I make my varicose veins less visible?

I’m only 15, and I have varicose veins all over my body. Sometimes the veins on the backs of my hands even stick out. Is there something wrong with me, and is there a way to fix this?
OK, maybe I am a little confused. My problem is that I have visible (blue, not red or pink) veins on the inside of my arms, across my chest, and down the backs of my legs. Only the veins on my hands and feet stick out. Some additional info: weight: 105 lbs, height: 5’4″, I get very little excercise…

Drink or eat something with anti oxidants.
    Do stretches
Put some foundation to cover it up
    Get a tan

Best bet is to see a Doctor… first to find out why you have such a problem and second to come up with options for you. Good Luck!

Do you really have varicose veins? The veins on everyones hands and feet will stick out at times. Some people who have a low percentage of body fat and high percentage of muscle even have veins in their legs and arms stick out. That doesn’t make them varicose veins. Varicose veins are large and painful. If you truly have varicose veins there is surgery. Sounds to me like you might be confused though.

Varicose vains r when the veins stick out permanantly. It can start with spiderveins, which show on the surface of the skin (looks like pink or red spiderwebs.) If that is what you have than it was inherated and come out when you gain weight. I recently went from only spiderveins to getting varicose (my mother has them very badly on her legs)after going from 125 lbs to 150 lbs.
There is a surgery they can do, but I hear that it is very painful and the veins can pop right back out if you don’t lose the weight first. There are creams for spiderveins, stretchmarks, but I’ve never seen one for varicose. I have never tried any of these creams long term though (which is the only way the creams claim to work.)
If they bother you so much you should go see your doctor about options. And if they are painful, you really need to go because my mother is now in so much pain with hers on the back of her knees that she might have to quit teaching just to stay off her feet (if she doesn’t lose a lot of weight.)
